Contemporary artist SuzyQ profoundly explores the concepts of nostalgia and eternity through her works. Her creations raise questions about memory and how it exists in time and space. In SuzyQ’s artistic world, LIMBO is a fantastical space where forgotten memories converge. The main characters in this space are “MOO” and a rubber duck. Through their interactions, she delves into the essence of human memory and emotions.

Two main stories construct SuzyQ’s artistic world—“LIMBO” and “The Story of Nothing”—creating tension between imagination and reality. In “LIMBO,” forgotten memories gather in one space, and “MOO” cares for these memories, transforming them into rubber ducks, thereby giving them new life. This process reveals SuzyQ’s profound thoughts on the permanence and transformation of memory.

In “Moo's Story,” the character “MOO” is central. As a resident of LIMBO, “Nothing” is responsible for guarding and caring for the rubber ducks. Through this process, “MOO” experiences different layers of memory and emotion. The expressionless eyes of “MOO” symbolize experiencing all kinds of emotions simultaneously at the center of time, reflecting SuzyQ’s exploration of “the contemplation of memory.”

These themes make us rethink the forgotten moments we encounter in life and their impact on us. At the same time, her works make us pause and consider how we emotionally connect with each other and how memories shape our identities. SuzyQ’s art is not only a visual delight but also a profound exploration of the mind, leading us into a world filled with contemplation and enlightenment.

I use pop art's color scheme, oriental and symmetrical designs to express and explore my artistic visions.
