Daeun Jung is Seoul based artist who is well known as illustrator of ending illustration for the famous Korean series <Extraordinary Attorney Woo>, which aired in 2022. After graduating from the department of Fine Art in Oriental Painting at Seoul National University in 2018, she has been presenting her artwork in various exhibitions and art fairs every year.
She paints modern images with oriental painting techniques and it appears in the rhythm of two disparate sentiments of the East and the West culture. Her work is a process of simplifying and flattening the landscapes and colors, collected on the trip. She interprets the world in a simple form, drawing with blue pencil just like a sight of free traveling bird. She works on digital drawing and oriental painting at the same time, creating her own world of art by combining the texture and spontaneity of painting in digital work and the attractive image of digital work in painting.
