Fu Yu was born in a small village in Shanxi Province, China, and has autism. His childhood was marked by bullying from friends, leading him to create his own toys and spend time with them. These childhood memories have formed the basis of his current creative activities, allowing him to create his own world in painting without constraints, showcasing a variety of artistic forms.
The puppet imagery from his hometown extends beyond his childhood to critically address the indifferent faces of modern people and the contradictions of capitalist society. He has been invited to numerous museums and art events, including the China Times Art Museum, Power Art Museum, the Brazil Biennale, and various venues in the United States, Sweden, and Europe, continuing his international activities.
